Jennifer Buth

I did not start out as an athlete more like a ballerina ... in fact, there was a point in time when running and lifting weights was the furthest from my mind. Here's what happened ...

I was a ballerina dancer from age 4 to 18 years old and throughout my 20's I was "recreational enthusiast" enjoying alpine skiing and aerobic classes.  In 2001, I was invited to join a group strength training class, driven by the desire to regain my fitness after having my third baby. As time went on, the gym routine began to lose its spark, leading me to venture into triathlon in 2003 with the Danskin All Women's Triathlon. Because of my passion about fitness, in 2008, I became a certified personal trainer with the International Sport Science Association, embarking on a journey to help others achieve health and fitness.

The pinnacle of my challenges came in 2012 when I committed to a full IRONMAN in Panama City, FL—comprising a 2.4-mile swim in the Gulf of Mexico, a 112-mile bike ride, and a 26.2-mile run, all conquered in a single day. After this monumental achievement and countless IRONMAN 70.3 races, I pursued further education, earning certification as a triathlon coach with USA Triathlon in 2015. Over the years, I expanded my expertise, becoming a certified personal trainer with the American Council on Exercise, with certifications in Fitness Nutrition and Senior Fitness. My most recent certification is in Menopause 2.0, studying under Dr. Stacy Sims and as a Certified Master Wellness Coach with Catalyst Coaching Institute. While winning races like I have with countless podium stands, qualifying for world and national championships, leading others to their fitness goals is truly my passion and calling in life.

Recognizing the significance of blending endurance and strength training with a healthy approach to nutrition and self care, I make it a point to educate my clients—whether young or old—on the importance of daily functional movements and proper nutrition pairing. Beyond my professional pursuits, my hobbies include swimming, biking, running, participating in races, cooking, reading, and spending time with my husband, Kevin, and our children and now grand children! I am truly passionate about leading and educating others to attain their goals in a healthy and fit lifestyle. And, if you drop by my studio, don't be surprised if you're welcomed by one of my many cats!
